About the position

The Warehouse Package Handler position involves managing inventory, preparing packages for shipment, and ensuring a clean and efficient work environment. This role is crucial for maintaining the flow of goods in the warehouse and supporting shipping operations.

Responsibilities

• Review the inventory for packaging supplies and reorder as necessary.
• Replenish shipping stations and pick carts with materials used by pickers and shippers throughout the day.
• Replenish totes throughout the warehouse as needed.
• Prep and wrap pallets using automated pallet wrap and pallet jacks.
• Transfer packages from shippers to designated consolidation areas.
• Inspect products for defects, damages, or discrepancies and report any issues to supervisors.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to optimize efficiency.

Requirements

• Ability to lift heavy packages and stand for long periods.
• Attention to detail for inspecting products and maintaining inventory accuracy.
