Responsibilities

• Sort pallets using an industrial sorting machine or by hand as needed.
• Grade pallets as they flow from the loading dock and production line.
• Collaborate with team members during tandem sorting operations.
• Remove nails or debris from pallets using hand tools.
• Move pallets from loading docks to the sort line manually when required.
• Maintain productivity by striving to meet daily production targets.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery.
• Report any safety hazards or concerns to supervisors immediately.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in a similar role or industrial environment.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Ability to understand and communicate information effectively.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift and position pallets weighing up to 78lbs for at least 63% of the work shift.
