About the position
Imperial is seeking a dedicated part-time Warehouse Associate to join our team in Lawton, OK. This position is essential to our operations, as it involves various tasks that ensure the smooth functioning of our warehouse. The ideal candidate will work Sunday through Thursday evenings, allowing for a flexible schedule that does not require work on Fridays and Saturdays. The role is physically demanding, requiring the ability to lift and load products onto trucks, check deliveries against paperwork, and manage stock efficiently. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for pulling all loads and products for route trucks, ensuring that everything is prepared for timely deliveries. You will also receive and put away stock, rotate products to maintain freshness, and sort pastries as needed. Keeping the facilities clean is a crucial part of the job, which includes emptying trash, sweeping, and maintaining the overall organization of the parking lot, warehouse, and dock areas. The position requires regular attendance and a commitment to safety and efficiency. You will work closely with route drivers, managers, and delivery drivers, making teamwork and communication essential. Responsibilities
- Work Sunday through Thursday evenings, with no work on Fridays and Saturdays.
- Pull all loads and products for route trucks, lifting and loading them on/off trucks.
- Check all deliveries and compare them to paperwork for accuracy.
- Receive and put away all stock, ensuring proper rotation of products.
- Sort pastries as required for deliveries.
- Maintain cleanliness of facilities by emptying trash, sweeping, and organizing the parking lot, warehouse, and dock areas.
Requirements
- Prior warehouse experience in shipping, receiving, inventory, and stocking.
- Ability to operate a pallet jack and other warehouse equipment.
- Physical capability to lift 35 pounds or more, perform overhead reaching, stooping, bending, and standing for extended periods.
