About the position
The Warehouse Part-Time Overnight associate at Lowe's plays a crucial role in ensuring that customers have access to essential items for their home improvement needs. This position involves actively engaging in the unloading, sorting, and stocking of merchandise while maintaining a clean and safe store environment. Associates are expected to deliver quality customer service and support the overall operations of the store during overnight shifts.
Responsibilities
- Unload trucks and sort products in the backrooms.
- Safely stock products on shelves.
- Ensure aisles are clean, organized, and safe.
- Engage customers, vendors, and associates with a friendly smile and positive attitude.
- Handle hazardous materials and replace damaged shelving.
- Keep the backroom organized and ensure equipment is charged.
- Organize merchandise and top stock to set up stores for sales success.
Requirements
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction).
- 3 months of experience operating a forklift or similar equipment (preferred).
- 6 months experience working in a warehouse environment performing inventory handling and stocking (preferred).
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in restaurant, hospitality, or other warehouse jobs.
- Bilingual skills are encouraged.
