About the position
The Warehouse Receiving and Donation Attendant at the Arizona Humane Society plays a crucial role in maintaining the organization and functionality of the warehouse, supporting various departments by managing inventory, processing deliveries, and assisting with donations. Responsibilities
- Ensure the warehouse is organized and maintained for all departments of AHS.
- Support the shelter by maintaining inventory for all warehouse areas.
- Receive and process all deliveries for AHS.
- Sort, store, and notify the proper departments of incoming deliveries.
- Inventory, inspect, stock, and distribute donated items effectively.
- Assist donors with donations and provide donation receipts.
- Work with AHS Transport Team and AHS Thrift drivers to ensure proper routing of items and supplies.
- Assist other departments with warehouse needs as they arise.
- Place orders for warehouse supplies in a timely manner.
- Stock and rotate warehouse inventory.
- Pull and prepare orders for all AHS departments.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid Driver's License required.
- Acceptable driving record and ability to pass drug and background check.
- Must be over 21 years of age.
- Experience in operating a forklift preferred.
- Strong organizational and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and cooperatively as part of a team.
- 1-year prior work experience.
