About The Position

The Warehouse/Relief Truck Jockey is responsible for assisting in the movement of internal freight and supplies, jockeying trailers, and maintaining general facility upkeep. This role also serves as a fill-in for other warehouse and truck jockey positions as needed, ensuring efficient operations within the facility.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours/days to support business needs.
• Ability to multitask, problem solve, and work effectively with others.
• Valid Driver's License (no CDL required) to drive jockey truck and back up trailers in tight spaces.
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.

Nice To Haves

• GED preferred.
• Ability to work safely around power equipment and at elevated heights.
• Ability to pass certification on forklift and driving test.

Responsibilities

• Operate a sit-down gas-powered forklift and other equipment as required.
• Use power tools to complete various tasks.
• Accurately verify inbound freight receipts.
• Keep the complex neat and clean.
• Perform miscellaneous tasks and assist others as needed.
• Responsible for food safety and end product quality as per training protocols.
• Be alert to suspicious activities as per training guidelines.

Benefits

• Full-time position with expected hours mainly from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
• Saturday rotation and occasional weekends and holidays based on business demands.
