About the position
The Warehouse Sanitor at Paris Brothers is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards across multiple warehouse facilities. This role is crucial in ensuring a clean, safe environment that complies with health and safety regulations, thereby supporting the operational efficiency of the warehouse.
Responsibilities
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum warehouse floors, office areas, and common spaces to ensure cleanliness and safety.
- Empty trash receptacles, dispose of waste in designated areas, and ensure proper recycling protocols are followed.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and workstations, refilling supplies such as soap and paper towels.
- Regularly dust surfaces, racks, and equipment to prevent dirt accumulation and maintain a healthy work environment.
- Operate floor scrubbers and other cleaning equipment to clean and maintain warehouse floors.
- Respond promptly to spills, leaks, or other safety hazards and ensure proper cleanup procedures are followed.
- Monitor and report signs of pests, ensuring preventive measures are in place and assisting in corrective actions as needed.
- Monitor cleaning supply inventory and request restocking as needed.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards in all cleaning tasks.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Prior experience in janitorial, custodial, or cleaning roles, especially in a warehouse or industrial setting.
