About the position
The Warehouse Shipping Coordinator at Beracah Homes, Inc. is responsible for overseeing the organization and shipment of materials related to construction projects. This role requires a skilled warehouse professional to ensure that all materials are accurately documented, stored, and shipped, contributing to the overall success of the company's operations.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all ship loose materials are organized and accounted for, ready to be shipped with the houses.
- Document all ship loose materials and upload pictures into Google Drive.
- Oversee the receipt of all outgoing materials and supplies, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Utilize QuickBooks, Google Sheets, and Microsoft Word to maintain detailed records of all outgoing shipments and inventory levels.
- Operate a forklift to unload and organize materials as needed.
- Coordinate with the purchasing and receiving departments to resolve any discrepancies.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of materials to maintain their quality and integrity.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and reconcile physical counts with system records.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline the shipping process and improve efficiency.
Requirements
- Construction experience required.
- Experience in warehouse operations and shipping coordination.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Google Sheets, and Microsoft Word.
- Ability to operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment.
