Warehouse Shipping Supervisor

About the position

The Warehouse Shipping Supervisor at I-TECH Resources, Inc. is responsible for overseeing the Shipping Department, ensuring accurate and efficient shipment fulfillment of customer orders. This role involves supervising daily operations, maintaining communication with other departments, and contributing to productivity initiatives while ensuring safety and compliance with company standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the daily shipment fulfillments of all customer orders in the forecasted priority shipping list.
• Maintains direct communication with corresponding company departments to ensure the integrity of outbound freight.
• Enters data to company share drive shipping lists regarding outbound freight daily.
• Actively contributes to lean initiatives to increase productivity and reduce costs.
• Monitors order selectors and shippers to ensure productivity levels are met for the day.
• Supervises work in accordance with company's production specifications and established work procedures.
• Provides weekly progress reports to the Warehouse Operations Manager regarding department productivity.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area in a safety-focused environment.
• Supervises and monitors the training of the Shipping department team.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 5 years of shipping supervisor experience required.
• Experience in supervisory and leadership roles preferred.
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems preferred.
• Knowledge of products/material shipping lead times.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow blueprints, schematics, diagrams, specifications, and bills of materials.
