About the position
The Warehouse Specialist Co-op position at Supply New England involves supporting warehouse operations through various tasks such as picking orders, stocking products, and ensuring a clean and safe work environment. Responsibilities
- Pick customer order tickets
- Merchandise and stock product on displays and in self-service areas
- Efficient and effective loading and unloading of trucks
- Inspect materials according to instructions and report damaged goods
- Process inbound materials to the warehouse
- Compare quantities shown on packing slip or manifests with actual items received
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code
- Ensure materials are placed in the designated area within the warehouse
- Stack skids or pallets in designated area
- Clean up and dispose of scrap bracing, cardboard, and strapping and place in proper container or designated area
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping racks, shelves, pallet area, workstations, and counter area neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Perform general housekeeping: sweeping, mopping, dusting, emptying trash
- Load delivery truck with product securely to avoid damages
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Counter sales training
