About the position
The Warehouse Specialist at EFCO LLC is responsible for transporting materials and supporting warehouse operations as part of a team. This role requires compliance with safety and productivity standards while actively participating in continuous improvement initiatives. The position demands flexibility in work hours, including overtime, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Transport materials using tugs, side loaders, and forklifts.
- Perform all Job Validation (JV) duties.
- Comply with safety, quality, and productivity requirements and procedures.
- Maintain regular and dependable attendance.
- Demonstrate flexibility in work hours, including overtime.
- Use hand tools and machinery to maintain equipment and buildings.
- Utilize computer and scanner systems for inventory accounting.
- Read, write, and use computers effectively.
- Participate in Continuous Improvement efforts by understanding team performance and implementing process improvements.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- 0-1 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily.
