About the position
Gotion, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Specialist to enhance the efficiency of its warehouse operations. The role focuses on supporting day-to-day activities, optimizing processes, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations, all while contributing to the company's mission of advancing sustainable energy solutions.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of strategies to optimize warehouse efficiency
- Support day-to-day warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and dispatching
- Maintain accurate stock levels through inventory control processes
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Assist in monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators for continuous improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline warehouse operations
Requirements
- 1+ year's experience in warehouse operations and supply chain processes
- Familiarity with AS400 or similar warehouse management systems
- Knowledge of transportation management principles
- Experience in shipping, receiving, and inventory control processes (FTZ experience is a plus)
- Ability to contribute to process improvement efforts
- Ability to work autonomously and actively problem solve
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
