About the position
The Warehouse Specialist position at Aerotek involves working in a clean, climate-controlled warehouse environment. Employees will be responsible for picking, packing, and handling materials using RF guns and pallet jacks. The role requires standing for extended periods and may involve working in various departments such as Receiving, Shipping, and Returns.
Responsibilities
- Use an RF gun to locate and pick products to a pallet or overpack case.
- Work in various departments including Receiving, Case Pick Modules, Shipping, Returns, DEA, Freezer, and Refrigerated space.
- Pick case quantities and build pallets for extended periods.
- Build pallets and break pallets down as needed.
- Verify inventory levels in locations by performing cycle counts.
- Use a pallet jack and may be trained to use a walkie-rider.
Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Experience using RF guns for inventory management.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with pallet jacks or walkie-riders.
- Previous warehouse experience.
