About the position

American National Insulation is seeking a Warehouse Specialist to perform a variety of material handling duties associated with the warehouse. This role involves load in/load out activities, material handling, inventory management, receiving, and shipping activities, ensuring all tasks are performed in accordance with company policies and procedures. The position is part of a diverse and inclusive team that values integrity and innovation, contributing to energy-efficient insulation and building material products.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload installer's trucks; ensure adherence to Load In / Load Out policies.
• Perform various warehouse duties such as pulling/assembling customer orders, checking outbound orders for accuracy, conducting inventory stock checks, restocking and labeling vendor products, maintaining displays, and conducting daily cycle counts.
• Receive and unload inbound material, process inbound shipments, stock material, process customer returns, and notify management of damaged shipments for freight claims.
• Maintain, clean, and organize the facility.
• Receive and inspect incoming material orders from approved vendors.
• Cycle count inventory and store items in an orderly manner while inspecting for wear or defects.
• Ensure loads are complete and secured to minimize damage and breakage.
• Make occasional deliveries to job sites or customers.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license required if operating a Company Vehicle.
• Forklift certification.
• Strong math skills.
• Ability to stand for up to 8-10 hours to perform job-related tasks.
