About the position

As a Warehouse Supervisor at GXO, you will lead the Supply Chain Operations team, focusing on fostering a positive work environment that enhances employee morale and productivity. Your role will involve establishing work schedules, training staff, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures while maintaining effective communication across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Establish work schedules, assign jobs, and train staff.
• Guide, counsel, and encourage employees to improve their potential and uphold high standards.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with on-site customers and key partners.
• Provide a safe and secure work environment through training and safety inspections.
• Assist with evaluating employee performance, providing written and verbal feedback.
• Implement and carry out all company policies, procedures, and standards.

Requirements

• 2 years of relevant experience.
• Active Secret Level Security Clearance issued by the U.S. State Department.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and computerized scanner equipment.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field, or equivalent related work or military experience.
• 3 years of managerial/supervisory experience.
• 3 years of export experience.
• Active Dangerous Goods certification.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.
• Experience in an AS9100 or ISO environment.
• Warehousing or Third-Party Logistics (3PL) experience.
