About the position

At Games Workshop, we are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Supervisor for the 3rd Shift who will prioritize the needs of the company and lead a team in a dynamic distribution environment. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will oversee and develop a team that is responsible for picking and shipping orders of all sizes across North America. Your responsibilities will include working closely with your team to prioritize and ship orders according to customer requirements. You will utilize various technologies, including computers, RF scanners, pick-to-light systems, material handling equipment, conveyors, and robots, to enhance operational efficiency. Coaching and developing your team will be a key focus, as you help them overcome challenges and strive for excellence both individually and collectively. Maintaining a safe working environment is crucial, and you will be responsible for planning and staffing appropriately to meet workload demands while managing employees' time and attendance effectively. This role is essential in ensuring that our distribution center operates smoothly and that our customers receive their orders in a timely manner. The work environment is a fully climate-controlled 150,000 square foot distribution center, providing a comfortable setting for all employees. This is a full-time exempt position, with expected working hours from Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and develop a team responsible for picking and shipping orders.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse or distribution environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop a team.
  • Familiarity with warehouse technology and equipment, including RF scanners and conveyors.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
