About the position

The Seasonal Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the management and organization of inventory, equipment, and supplies in a warehouse setting, particularly during the busy holiday season. This role emphasizes safety, personnel management, and effective communication to ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Manage, organize, and optimize storage of inventory, equipment, and supplies adhering to rigorous protocols, techniques, and audits.
• Ensure safety policies and protocols are followed at all times, reporting any incidents or near misses to the appropriate personnel.
• Track and store products, supplies, and equipment accurately in the warehouse.
• Collaborate with the Holiday Production Manager and Production team to align work and supplies with the production schedule.
• Maintain warehouse equipment regularly and report issues to the Holiday Director and Fleet & Safety Manager.
• Supervise and coordinate warehouse foreman and crew team members, including full-time and seasonal staff.
• Manage weekly payroll for warehouse staff.
• Effectively manage a diverse workforce, addressing language barriers as needed.
• Ensure accurate loading and auditing of vehicles for jobs/routes.
• Utilize reporting systems to ensure timely launches of morning and night crews with the correct products and supplies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or commensurate experience.
• 1 - 3 years of supervisory experience in logistics or warehouse management, particularly in high seasonality environments.
• Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel and Word, and the ability to learn new software quickly.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Ability to become MEWP certified and undergo OSHA 30 Training.
• Effective communication skills (written, verbal, and visual).
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with an operational mindset.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Experience as a team leader.
