About the position

The Warehouse Supervisor at ATC Drivetrain LLC is responsible for overseeing the planning, storage, control, and distribution of materials and products in a high-volume, multi-site warehouse environment. This role involves managing shipping, receiving, and inventory control to meet company objectives and customer requirements, while continuously striving for process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, coordinates, and manages personnel and activities for effective processing, shipping, storage, and issuance of materials.
• Maintains inventory accuracy for components and finished goods.
• Supervises physical inventory across multiple warehouses.
• Manages logistics for transporting materials from various facilities and suppliers.
• Motivates and develops subordinates, focusing on their performance and growth.
• Ensures compliance with established policies, rules, regulations, and procedures.
• Maintains a quality work environment, including good housekeeping practices.
• Interfaces with other divisions to ensure timely and accurate material receipt and issuance.
• Coordinates timely, accurate, and damage-free shipments of products.
• Operates a forklift as needed.
• Recommends and implements improvements in production methods, equipment performance, and product quality.
• Ensures adherence to QS 9000 and MMOG systems policies and procedures.
• Achieves budgetary goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related discipline preferred.
• Five years' experience in a multi-warehouse environment, particularly in large warehouses (100,000 sf or larger).
• International import experience required.
• Experience in warehouse layout for maximum efficiency.
• Knowledge in selecting appropriate storage solutions and material handling equipment.
• Lean manufacturing experience to ensure efficient product delivery.

Nice-to-haves

• Certifications in APIC's or Purchasing Management are highly desirable.
