About the position

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and employee performance evaluations. This role requires effective management of warehouse staff and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standard operating procedures. The position is full-time and contract-based, with a focus on improving production processes and achieving employee engagement objectives.

Responsibilities

• Manage warehouse inventory and keep records of the inventory
• Lead clerical team of indirect support team members, including inventory, logistics, and planning
• Monitor yard trailer movement and radio communication
• Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and safety rules and regulations
• Effectively manage hourly associates and achieve employee engagement objectives
• Use Cx tools to improve production processes and correct deficiencies as they occur

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3+ years of experience managing or supervising in a warehousing, production, and/or planning environment

Nice-to-haves

• Supervisory experience in materials workforce or shipping/receiving operations with proven leadership skills
• Ability to effectively work cross-functionally with various groups including Materials, Quality, Purchasing, Engineering, Logistics Center, Finance, HR, EH&S, etc.
• Proficient in the use of PC and software applications
