About the position

The Warehouse Supervisor at V2X is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all employees within the warehouse section, ensuring that daily activities align with customer requirements and safety standards. This role involves mentoring staff, troubleshooting logistical issues, and maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations while promoting continuous improvement within the warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate daily activities within the warehouse section.
• Ensure deadlines are met to satisfy customer requirements.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and standard operating procedures.
• Support and mentor employees in warehouse functions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve logistical issues with employees.
• Coordinate activities with other supervisors.
• Interpret and account for daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
• Communicate effectively to motivate employees and drive productivity.
• Assist in evaluating work section capacity and manpower planning.
• Promote a safe work environment and comply with safety regulations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 8 years of warehouse operations experience.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of governing regulations and policies in Supply Management.
• Forklift experience and current license preferred.
• Knowledge of GCSS-Army and regulatory supply systems.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and OSHA standards.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-based environment.
• Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Protected Personal Equipment (PPE) standards.
