Warehouse Supervisor

About the position

The Warehouse Supervisor at Schneider Tire Outlet is responsible for assisting the Distribution Center Manager in overseeing warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, and managing inventory control. This role involves supervising and motivating employees, coordinating product deliveries, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the management of the warehouse in compliance with company's policies and vision.
• Supervise, engage, and motivate employees.
• Train new employees, with continued performance monitoring.
• Coordinate the pulling of product for scheduled deliveries.
• Manage the loading and unloading of trucks, assisting as necessary.
• Schedule truck delivery routes.
• Complete and organize any necessary paperwork.
• Verify the inventory that is loaded on and unloaded from delivery and transfer trucks.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Fill in as needed for deliveries.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• At least two years of warehouse experience.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to help manage team leaders and their teams.
• Basic computer skills and a willingness to learn required software.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 50lbs.

Nice-to-haves

• Supervisory experience of 1 year (Preferred)
• Warehouse distribution experience of 2 years (Preferred)
