Responsibilities
- Guide a dedicated team, providing coaching and direction to drive productivity, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring smooth materials handling and timely product storage.
- Conduct daily safety inspections, troubleshoot quality issues, and partner with teams across departments to streamline processes.
- Work closely with union leadership to resolve issues, maintain a safe work environment, and achieve team engagement goals.
- Uphold rigorous Environmental, Health, and Safety (EH&S) standards, and adhere to operational and safety procedures.
- Manage shift operations, working a 2nd shift schedule (2 PM - 10 PM) with opportunities for overtime.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 3 years of supervisory experience in warehouse, production, or logistics settings.
Nice-to-haves
- Proven experience motivating and managing hourly associates, ideally within a unionized environment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities and deadlines.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices.
- Proficiency in PC applications and warehouse management software.
