About the position
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the receipt, coordination, and safety of goods in the warehouse. This role ensures timely dispatch and arrival of orders, manages warehouse team members, and maximizes operational efficiency while maintaining inventory levels and implementing loss controls.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the receipt, coordination, and safety of goods in the warehouse.
- Ensure that orders arrive and are dispatched on time to the appropriate destinations and in the expected quantities.
- Staff, schedule, train, evaluate, and develop warehouse team members.
- Oversee warehouse productivity to meet customer schedules and maximize operational efficiency.
- Allocate necessary space for stock rotation and maintain appropriate inventory levels.
- Implement product loss controls and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree with 3 to 4 years of related experience and 0 to 1 years of supervisory experience, or a High School Diploma/GED with 5 years of related experience and 2 years of supervisory experience.
