About the position

The Warehouse Support role at Home Depot involves various activities related to scheduling inbound and outbound operations within the Distribution Center (DC). The position focuses on ensuring inventory accuracy, maintaining system and process quality, and ensuring vendor compliance for outbound shipments. Additionally, associates may perform administrative and clerical duties to support specific functional areas within the DC. The role requires collaboration with other associates, vendors, and carriers, while adhering to safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Schedule inbound and outbound activities in the Distribution Center.
• Ensure inventory accuracy within processing areas.
• Maintain system and process quality and vendor compliance.
• Perform administrative and general office/clerical duties.
• Ensure the DC has required functioning hardware for efficient operations.
• Build relationships with internal suppliers/customers and functional groups at the DC.

Requirements

• Detail-oriented with proven time management skills.
• Ability to work cooperatively with minimal supervision.
• Experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in logistics or supply chain management.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems.
