Warehouse Team Member - Baltimore PDC

About the position

The Warehouse Team Member at Toyota's Parts Distribution Center in Baltimore, MD, is responsible for receiving, storing, picking, and shipping service parts and accessories to over 117 dealerships. This role is crucial in ensuring that the right parts are delivered to customers on time and in perfect condition. Responsibilities

• Receive, store, pick, and ship service parts and accessories.
• Support the objective of delivering the right part at the right time, damage-free.
• Rotate job tasks and work overtime as needed to meet business demands.
• Participate in warehouse committees and kaizen projects.
• Maintain an acceptable work attendance record.

Requirements

• Flexibility to work in either a hot or cold work environment.
• Ability to work 2nd shift with daily and/or weekend overtime.
• Physical ability to carry, stand, walk, lift, stoop, bend, push, pull, and climb stairs.
• Ability to lift and carry automobile parts without power equipment assistance.
• Visual capacity to recognize, read, and understand standard operating procedures and instructions.
• Ability to see/hear and distinguish sounds that alert or notify of danger.
• Ability to utilize personal protective equipment.

Nice-to-haves

• Inventory-related experience in a high-volume warehouse.
• Experience operating powered industrial equipment such as Forklift, Reach Truck, Tugger, Stock Chaser, and Order Picker.
