About The Position

As a Warehouse Team Member, you will play a crucial role that directly impacts the success of Chick-fil-A restaurants. Duties include unloading, picking and loading product at the Chick-fil-A Supply Fort Lauderdale Distribution Center in Weston, FL. Chick-fil-A Supply strives to be the most caring distribution center in the world with scheduling, pay and benefits that demonstrate care for our team members. Due to steady, year-over-year sales and volume growth, combined with the complexity in our Restaurants, Chick-fil-A Supply supports current and future Restaurant needs through distribution innovation that extends the Chick-fil-A culture of care to those it serves, as well as those it employs. This subsidiary is in the early stages of development and is a dynamic, fast-paced work environment focused on launching this new service to Restaurants across the nation.

Requirements

• Extreme Temperature: Working in rotation through extreme temperatures (-10F to 100F) is required to keep our food safe!
• Heavy Weights: Reach, bend, and stoop while lifting up to 65 pounds per case during most of your shift. Occasionally you will use mechanical assistance to move up to 2,000 pounds.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

• Working in a warehouse and/or material handling is preferred but not required
• Previous work in food distribution is a plus

Responsibilities

• Efficiency and Organization: You'll be on your feet, actively engaging with unloading, staging, picking and loading products
• Safety First: Safely operating machinery like forklifts and pallet jacks and keeping our warehouse clean and safe
