About the position

The Warehouse - Utility Maintenance position involves performing various warehouse duties as assigned, including loading and unloading trucks, light building maintenance, and delivering trucks to and from the paint shop. The role requires operating a forklift and ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to load and unload Aspen's flatbed truck.
• Strap loads on the flatbed truck.
• Load and unload freight trucks with a forklift.
• Clear snow and ice from walks and areas in front of doors during winter.
• Keep weeds and grass clear of loading racks along the fence line.
• Wash and maintain cleanliness of Aspen Aerials' company vehicles.
• Bring truck chassis to scales.
• Pull parts for shop jobs and put parts away in the warehouse.
• Perform light building maintenance, such as changing light bulbs, painting, trash removal, and light cleaning.
• Pull parts for Sales Orders, package, and ship.
• Pick up and drop off components to and from vendors.
• Conduct special projects in the yard, storage areas, and company grounds.
• Drive chassis to and pick up chassis from the paint shop.
• Deliver parts to and from the warehouse and paint shop.
• Assist Warehouse Coordinator with pulling parts for shop jobs and performing inventory transactions in the computer system.
• Build wood crates to ship oversized parts.

Requirements

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
• Must be able to operate Aspen Aerials Fork Trucks and pass the company provided Forklift Training course.
• Must have a Class B CDL driver's license or the ability to achieve one with proper training.
• Must have a current DOT Medical examiners card and the ability to pass the physical required to carry one.
• Must be well organized with a high attention to detail.
• Must be a good communicator.
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to operate a wide variety of hand and power tools.
