About the position

The Warehouse Worker position involves filling orders, maintaining warehouse operations, and ensuring a clean and safe work environment. This role is essential for supporting the logistics and inventory management of a growing manufacturing client in Middleton, with opportunities for temp-to-hire and career advancement.

Responsibilities

• Fills orders in accordance with specifications on order form
• Print order from computerized system
• Pick orders in accordance with order form specifications, using lift or order picker
• Initiate cycle count requests when inventory variances are discovered
• Band/Wrap orders for delivery
• Complete import/export paperwork, as necessary
• Complete cycle count sheets
• Maintain warehouse operations
• Load and unload trucks
• Complete replenishment cards
• Replenish materials into their proper location
• Repair pallets
• Perform daily maintenance on warehouse equipment (maintain, charge, clean batteries)
• Maintain warehouse environment
• Clean assigned areas; remove trash; recycle as appropriate
• Ensure work area is in a clean and safe condition
• Report unsafe conditions to department leadership

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Forklift Certification
• Basic computer skills
• Accuracy/Attention to detail
• Ability to operate straight lift/order picker, turret lift, sidewinder, and multi
• Must be able to prioritize and make decisions
• Must be self-motivated and have excellent attendance
• Must be willing to work all assigned overtime

Nice-to-haves

• 6 months warehouse experience
• Fork Lift License/experience
