About the position

The Warehouse Worker position at Saputo Cheese USA Inc. involves the safe and efficient operation of material handling equipment, including lift trucks and pallet jacks, as well as the effective use of warehouse management software. Responsibilities

  • Safe and efficient operation of material handling equipment including lift trucks and pallet jacks.
  • Effective operation of automated warehouse management software controls and inventory management tools.
  • Perform product transfer operations and load/unload finished goods from packaging to the cooler.
  • Load refrigerated trailers according to customer specifications.
  • Follow internal and external requirements for loading and unloading trailers.
  • Complete other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

  • Experience in warehouse operations or shipping & receiving roles.
  • Experience with RF scanning guns.
  • Indoor forklift driving experience preferred.
  • Experience with multi-level drive-in racking is a plus.
  • Experience in loading and inspecting trucks, including balancing load distribution is a plus.
  • Food manufacturing experience is a plus.
  • Good computer software skills, preferably with SAP.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds independently and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
