About the position

Penske Logistics is seeking warehouse dock associates to join their team. This role is ideal for individuals who prioritize safety and possess a friendly demeanor, aiming to thrive in a warehouse setting. Associates will be responsible for various tasks related to loading and unloading products, maintaining a clean workspace, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety requirements
• Stage and sort products for loading
• Load and unload trailers in a safe manner
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Lift, push, and pull products throughout the warehouse
• Move materials within the warehouse
• Operate electric pallet jacks and forklifts as needed
• Scan freights/parts

Requirements

• No prior warehouse experience required but preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Customer service skills
• Multi-tasking skills
• Organizational skills
• Flexibility in work schedule
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is essential
• Willingness to complete a background investigation and drug screening
