About the position

Penske Logistics is seeking warehouse dock associates to join their team. This role is ideal for individuals who prioritize safety and possess a friendly demeanor, aiming to thrive in a warehouse setting. The position involves various tasks related to loading and unloading trailers, maintaining a clean work environment, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety requirements
• Stage and sort products for loading
• Load and unload trailers in a safe manner
• Open and close dock doors
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Sort and place parts in racks or other designated areas
• Stack cardboard boxes and pallets
• Move materials within the warehouse
• May operate electric pallet jacks and forklifts as needed
• Scan freights/parts

Requirements

• No prior warehouse experience required but preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Customer service skills and ability to deal with others
• Multi-tasking and organizational skills required
• Flexible and excellent time management skills required
• Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions required
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• Willingness to work the required schedule at the specific location required
• Complete a Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation and drug screening required
