About the position
Penske Logistics is seeking part-time warehouse dock associates for evening shifts. This role is ideal for individuals who prioritize safety and possess a positive attitude, aiming to thrive in a warehouse environment. The position involves various tasks related to loading and unloading trailers, maintaining a clean workspace, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Responsibilities
- Follow all safety requirements
- Stage and sort products for loading
- Load and unload trailers in a safe manner
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Sort and place parts in racks or other designated areas
- Stack cardboard boxes and pallets
- Move materials within the warehouse
- May operate electric pallet jacks as needed
- Scan freights/parts
Requirements
- No prior warehouse experience required but preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Customer service skills
- Multi-tasking skills
- Organizational skills
- Flexibility in work schedule
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
