Penske Logistics is seeking part-time warehouse dock associates to join their team in Jamesburg, NJ. The position involves various tasks related to the handling and movement of materials within the warehouse, ensuring a clean and safe workspace, and adhering to safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Follow all safety requirements
- Offload auto parts and cages from trailers and place returns in designated areas
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Move materials within the warehouse
- May operate manual pallet jacks and hand trucks as needed
- Scan engines, cages, and totes
Requirements
- No prior warehouse experience required but preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Customer service skills and ability to deal with others
- Multi-tasking and organizational skills required
- Excellent time management skills required
- Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions required
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
- Willingness to work the required schedule and location
