About the position

Penske Logistics is seeking warehouse dock associates for the second shift to join their team. This role is ideal for individuals who prioritize safety and possess a positive attitude, aiming to thrive in a warehouse environment. The position involves various tasks related to sorting, loading, and maintaining a clean workspace, contributing to the overall efficiency of the logistics operations.

Responsibilities

• Accurately sort product cases into correct lanes
• Load and unload trailers in a safe manner, transferring freight to proper loading zones
• Sort and place parts in racks or other designated areas
• Scan freights/parts
• Stack cardboard boxes and pallets
• Manually move freight consistently, with weights ranging from 15-30lbs
• Utilize pallet jacks, scan guns, trollies, box cutters, and hand wrap as needed
• Follow all safety requirements
• Maintain a clean and safe work area

Requirements

• No prior warehouse experience required but preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required
• Ability to work independently and possess customer service skills
• Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills required
• Flexibility to work overtime preferred
• Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions required
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• Willingness to work the required schedule at the specific location required
• Complete a Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation and drug screening required
