About the position

The Warehouse Worker position at Aerotek involves loading and unloading materials in a manufacturing environment, primarily using forklifts. The role requires handling long aluminum tubes and performing various tasks related to tube cutting, laser operation, and metal fabrication. This position offers immediate hiring and operates on a four-day work week, promoting a positive work-life balance.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials on shelving racks and trucks using forklifts.
• Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts.
• Handle long aluminum tubes for packaging and shipment.
• Work in a true manufacturing environment focusing on tubular fabricated parts.
• Assist in first operation tube cutting and tube laser parts through assemblies complete to print.
• Perform tasks related to cutting, laser operation, bending, welding, machining, and finishing.

Requirements

• 1+ years of forklift experience.
• 1+ years of true manufacturing experience (not plastics or light duty material).

Nice-to-haves

• Side loader experience (plus).
• Any kind of metal fabrication experience (plus).
