About the position

The Warehouse Worker at Aramark is responsible for receiving, processing, and organizing products within the warehouse. This role ensures that the warehouse is maintained according to safety standards and operational protocols, while also performing inventory and quality control duties. The position requires interaction with various stakeholders and adherence to safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect products, accurately label items, and report discrepancies in deliveries and invoices.
• Organize and store incoming products using FIFO inventory controls for perishable items.
• Operate manual and electric pallet jacks, and/or forklifts as required.
• Pick inventory to assemble orders for requisitions or established par levels.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures to meet accuracy and production standards.
• Load, unload, and transport products and materials within the warehouse and to client locations using carts or powered industrial vehicles.
• Conduct routine physical inventory counts based on established schedules.
• Complete administrative duties including inventory count documents and equipment inspections, using paper or technology-based systems.
• Clean assigned work areas, including restrooms and break areas.
• Implement safety policies, OSHA requirements, and emergency procedures, using required safety equipment.
• Ensure the security of client and company assets.
• Interact with clients, employees, vendors, and customers regarding business-related activities.

Requirements

• Must be over 18 years of age.
• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• 2 years of previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Manual dexterity for operating machinery.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and frequently carry objects weighing up to 35 lbs.
• Some locations may require a valid driver's license.
