About the position

The Warehouse Worker position at Core-Mark involves performing essential tasks to support the efficient flow of products through the distribution process. This role is crucial for maintaining quality standards and ensuring safety within the warehouse environment. Warehouse associates will engage in shipping and receiving functions, contributing to the overall success of the company's operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform general warehouse duties including forklift put-away, will-call selection, returns, sanitation, and order selection.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the warehouse area, loading dock, and trailers.
• Conduct daily safety checks of assigned equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Perform damage control checks on received items and report issues to supervisors.
• Replace batteries in equipment as needed and complete vehicle inspection checklists.
• Review work schedules and prepare for daily operations.
• Wear required Personal Protective Equipment and Safety Gear at all times.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards as per company guidelines.
• Secure all equipment and complete necessary paperwork.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Ability to work scheduled times and required overtime.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Capability to lift, stack, and pull products weighing between 10-90 pounds.
• Ability to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
