About the position
UPS is excited to announce the opening of a new warehouse in Winchester, VA, and we are looking for dedicated individuals to join our team as Warehouse Workers, also known as Package Handlers. This position offers serious growth potential and the opportunity to be part of one of the first teams in our new facility. Initially, you will be training and working at our Front Royal warehouse until the Winchester location is fully operational in October 2024. As a Warehouse Worker, you will play a crucial role in the logistics process by loading and unloading packages from UPS trailers and our signature brown trucks. You will also be responsible for sorting packages to ensure they reach their correct destinations. Our Warehouse Workers are a diverse and collaborative team that thrives in a fast-paced environment, making this an exciting opportunity for those who enjoy physical work and teamwork. To succeed in this role, you will need to be physically fit, as the job requires lifting packages weighing up to 70 lbs and maintaining stamina throughout your shift.
