About the position

The Warehouse Worker at S.J. Distributors LLC is responsible for various tasks related to shipping, receiving, inventory management, and quality control of goods. This full-time position requires working in a cold environment and involves physical labor, including lifting and moving heavy items. The role is essential for ensuring efficient warehouse operations and supporting the overall supply chain process.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for shipping and receiving
• Responsible for stock taking and handling
• Responsible for inventory management
• Responsible for quality control of goods received
• Responsible for loading and unloading of goods
• Responsible for physical weighing of goods
• Work in the freezer to pick/sort the goods
• Assisting drivers in loading and on-time delivery
• Assisting the warehouse manager in daily work

Requirements

• Forklift experience preferred
• Warehouse experience preferred
• Ability to work in cold conditions (temperature -10℃ or 15℉)
• Able to lift, carry, push or pull weights of at least 50 pounds and up to 80 pounds
• Good attendance record
• Ethical and reliable
• Good team player with the ability to carry out orders accurately
