About the position

The Warehouse Picker/Packer position is a temporary full-time role focused on supporting the distribution center operations. The role involves essential tasks such as packaging, order picking, and maintaining inventory control, contributing to the overall efficiency of the warehouse. The position requires physical strength and attention to detail to ensure accurate order fulfillment and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform various warehouse duties including receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products
• Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently
• Maintain inventory control by conducting regular cycle counts and reconciling discrepancies
• Ensure proper handling of materials to prevent damage or loss
• Follow OSHA guidelines and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment
• Assist with shipping and receiving activities as needed
• Collaborate with team members and warehouse management to optimize warehouse operations

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in picking, packing, and inventory control
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems and inventory tracking software
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety procedures in a warehouse setting
