About the position

The Warehouse/Yard Worker position at BrandSafway involves operating company vehicles for the safe pick-up and delivery of equipment, performing general warehousing tasks, and assisting in the maintenance and repair of equipment. The role requires a strong focus on safety, organization, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles for the pick-up and delivery of equipment, parts, tools, and materials.
• Perform periodic safety inspections and maintenance checks on company vehicles and equipment.
• Conduct general warehousing tasks including receiving, storing, packaging, and shipping parts and materials.
• Drive a forklift to move inventory and materials across the facility and load/unload customers.
• Prepare orders by processing requests, pulling materials, packing boxes, and inspecting return equipment.
• Sort and place parts, materials, or equipment on racks, shelves, or in bins according to standards.
• Perform daily housekeeping and janitorial tasks to maintain a clean work area and warehouse.
• Assist service mechanics in the maintenance and repair of equipment as directed.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and carry for extended periods (up to 15 minutes) several times during a shift.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
• Prior experience with forklift operation is a plus, but training is available.
