Join our team as a Warehouse Dock Worker, where you'll play a crucial role in the seamless flow of goods, ensuring efficiency and precision at every step. As a Warehouse Dock Worker, you will be responsible for unloading incoming trailers, operating warehouse machinery, and maintaining an organized work environment. You will work closely with the receiving team to ensure that all materials are handled safely and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of the warehouse operations. Effective communication with peers and supervisors is key, as you will need to report any issues promptly and maintain organized documentation. You will also be responsible for ensuring inventory integrity through proper transactions and keeping the work area clean and organized. Physical capability is essential, as the job requires standing, carrying, and stacking materials throughout your shift. Additionally, you will prepare for and participate in the annual physical inventory, ensuring that all materials are accounted for accurately.

Responsibilities

  • Work with receiving team to unload incoming trailers.
  • Operate a sit-down tow motor safely and efficiently.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, working with agility and accuracy.
  • Communicate effectively and transparently with peers and supervisors.
  • Identify and count materials accurately, reporting any issues promptly.
  • Safely secure and package materials for transfer.
  • Maintain organized documentation and proper labeling.
  • Ensure inventory integrity through proper transactions.
  • Keep a clean and organized work environment.
  • Physically capable of working on your feet, carrying, and stacking materials.
  • Prepare for and participate in annual physical inventory.

Requirements

  • Experience operating a tow motor, forklift, or other similar warehouse machinery.
  • Authorized to work in the US.
  • High school diploma or GED.

Nice-to-haves

  • Willingness and ability to operate forklifts, Reach Trucks, and Stock Pickers.
  • Familiarity with dock equipment and safety checks.
  • Knowledge of Oracle WMS and scanning equipment.
  • Proficient in consolidating and packing material efficiently.
  • Skilled in picking and delivering materials as per work orders.
  • Replenishing assembly line materials using carts and bins.
  • Familiarity with computers and Microsoft Office Suite is a plus.
