About the position

The position involves managing the movement of raw, in-process, and finished goods materials within the Warehouse area, ensuring proper receipt, storage, and issuance of labels and cannula used in the manufacture and distribution of medical devices. The role requires operating hand equipment and forklift trucks to facilitate these processes while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Unload trucks and verify counts against bill of lading/packing slips.
  • Stack materials on pallets or other storage mediums for inventory.
  • Verify part ID and quantity of all incoming materials.
  • Mark incoming goods with labels prior to storage.
  • Pull and locate materials for storage according to SAP requisition or Apriso transaction.
  • Open bales, crates, and other containers as necessary using hand tools.
  • Retrieve raw materials from storage racks using FIFO system.
  • Deliver materials to requesting departments.
  • Transport finished goods from post-sterilization storage to shipping department.
  • Maintain records of all shipping transactions and load lists.
  • Perform monthly cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Conduct daily safety checks of powered equipment and follow safety practices.
  • Handle waste drum transfer requests and dispose of empty drums.
  • Receive and verify labels/cannula identity and quantities before inventory placement.
  • Prepare and issue labels/cannula to manufacturing and enter transactions in the computer.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Warehouse experience required.
  • Forklift driving experience required.
  • Proven understanding of SAP and Apriso transactions.
