About the position

The Warner Bros. Animation Regular Show Lost Tapes Production Intern position offers a unique opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in the animation production pipeline. Interns will work closely with a team of animation professionals, assisting with various production tasks and gaining exposure to the animation industry. This part-time internship is designed for rising juniors or seniors enrolled in an accredited college or university, providing a competitive hourly wage and the potential for school credit.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the production unit with various tasks
  • Audit the voiceover recording process, storyboard pitches, editing, and artwork
  • Meet the entire team, including writers, directors, artists, and producers
  • Help with design through Pro Tool and Page Number
  • Maintain weekly records
  • Gain exposure to artists
  • Learn the entire production process
  • Perform clerical and archiving work
  • Confirm information and artwork received by the studio and send email confirmations
  • Organize outgoing pre-production shipments to overseas studios
  • Prepare storyboards for animatic import
  • Handle interoffice deliveries and distribution
  • Assist with communications between management and crew under direction of managerial staff
  • Perform additional administrative tasks as needed

Requirements

  • Familiarity with the animation industry and a passion for animation
  • Knowledge of MAC, including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop
  • Proficiency with FileMaker Pro
  • Proficiency with ToonBoom Storyboard Pro
  • Knowledge of file set-up, maintenance, and filing procedures
  • Knowledge of basic math, spelling, grammar, punctuation, and English usage
  • Ability to organize and schedule work effectively
  • Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with persons on all levels
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail and understand written and oral instructions
  • Ability to work well under time constraints
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university degree program for the full duration of the internship
  • Must be a rising Junior or Senior Undergrad (18 years or older)
  • Must be in academic good standing (3.0 or above cumulative GPA)
