About The Position

The Warranty Administrator at Salem Carriers plays a crucial role in supporting the VP of Warranty and the warranty department by processing warranty claims for repairs on heavy-duty trucks and trailers. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that warranty claims are filed accurately and tracked until completion.

Requirements

• Minimum 1-2 years administrative experience.
• Computer literacy with strong proficiency in Outlook and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word).
• Excellent communication skills, including writing, verbal, and listening.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Exceptional time-management and organizational skills.
• Motivated self-starter with the ability to be resourceful.
• Ability to work in a team environment with limited supervision.

Nice To Haves

• Warranty experience and mechanical knowledge is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Data Entry - File web-based warranty claims and policies through multiple manufacturer software systems for 40+ shop locations.
• Determine warranty coverage, submit, and track claims until completion.
• Process and distribute all factory campaign and recall customer notifications.
• Provide repair shops with the affected units and proper repair procedures required.
• File claims and report recall completion to the manufacturer.
• Pull warranty part return shipping reports and coordinate part shipping with each shop location.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
