About the position

The Warranty Administrator at Mayse Automotive Group is responsible for managing and processing warranty claims for GM and Mopar vehicles. This role involves ensuring proper documentation, following up on claims, and maintaining accurate records to facilitate timely payments and compliance with manufacturer requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares, submits, and follows up on warranty claims.
  • Processes all warranty paperwork, ensuring proper documentation and verifies criteria required by factory or distributor.
  • Resubmits all rejected claims promptly.
  • Assists with extended warranty claims and follows up on outstanding claims.
  • Maintains a current warranty schedule for factory warranty.
  • Reconciles all warranty receivables and works with the accounting department to obtain payments.
  • Maintains all service and customer records as required by the manufacturer.
  • Helps with cashiering at times and assists in answering phones, directing customers to the right people.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous automotive warranty administrative experience preferred.
  • CDK experience highly desirable.
  • Must be detail oriented and have strong organizational ability.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
