About the position
The Warranty Administrator at BMW of the Main Line plays a crucial role in managing dealership warranty responsibilities. This position focuses on improving performance and service quality by assisting dealerships with warranty submissions, providing best practices, and enhancing operational processes to support dealership operations effectively.
Responsibilities
- Process warranty claims for payment in accordance with all manufacturer policies and procedures.
- Review all repair orders for manufacturer compliance and correct any issues with the dealership before submitting to the manufacturer.
- Address all returned claims proactively with the dealership and correct them with the manufacturer as quickly as possible.
- Review open warranty Repair Orders as requested and provide appropriate labor operations and compliance guidance to the dealership.
- Respond promptly and directly with appropriate dealership staff regarding updates to corrections needed on repair orders.
- Reconcile the Warranty Receivables schedule for all outstanding amounts and identify issues to correct them with appropriate dealership parties.
- Submit correct documentation to the manufacturer on an ongoing basis, maintaining this expectation weekly.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Exceptional interpersonal, customer service, problem-solving, verbal and written communication, and conflict resolution skills.
- Previous automotive warranty experience is a plus.
- Decisiveness and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with necessary technology, including computers and Microsoft Office.
- Polite, professional demeanor with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work well with others and maintain appropriate communications with multiple dealerships.
- Brand experience and CDK experience is a plus.
