About the position

The Warranty Administrator role at The Habegger Corporation involves preparing warranty documents, submitting claims to manufacturers, and assisting dealers and homeowners with product registration. The position is focused on ensuring that the distributorship is compensated for all warranty work performed, while also providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process warranty documentation according to manufacturer guidelines
• Train and assist dealers on submitting online warranty claims and using the warranty website (Service Bench)
• Process claims and dealer credits quickly and efficiently
• Discuss the warranty claim and expectations with dealers
• Follow up with manufacturers to ensure claims are being processed properly
• Adjust and resubmit any denied claims to secure payment for warranty work
• Work closely with the Service Department to resolve service issues involving compensation
• Work closely with dealers and distributor personnel to answer and resolve any warranty and registration questions or issues
• Work with the factory to resolve any warranty or registration issues
• Process optional contract purchases - approve vendor invoice - invoice dealer

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalency or prior relevant experience required
• Experience working in a dealership, preferably with service or warranties
• Proficiency with basic computer programs
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail
