About the position
The Warranty Lead is responsible for overseeing the administration and execution of the company's warranty program. This role serves as the primary point of contact for homeowners regarding warranty issues, inquiries, and repair requests, ensuring effective communication and resolution of claims.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the administration and execution of the company's warranty program.
- Handle homeowner warranty claims and service requests.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners regarding warranty issues and inquiries.
- Receive, review, and process warranty claims submitted by homeowners.
- Document issues, assess eligibility for coverage, and determine appropriate resolution steps for warranty claims.
- Discuss warranty claims and expectations with homeowners.
- Maintain accurate records of warranty claims, service requests, repair activities, and resolution outcomes.
- Responsible for FEMA Certificate / Elevation Certificates.
- Update Plat Management and Filing Inspection Scheduling.
- Support the Field/Production team within Chafin Business Unit - Chafin Communities.
Requirements
- Experience in warranty administration or a related field.
- Strong communication skills to interact with homeowners effectively.
- Ability to assess warranty claims and determine eligibility for coverage.
- Organizational skills to maintain accurate records and documentation.
