About the position
As the Automotive Warranty Manager at QB Business Solutions, you will be responsible for managing warranty claims and fostering strong relationships with dealers. This role emphasizes compliance with warranty processes, team management, and the development of strategies to meet performance goals. The position is integral to ensuring high standards of service and operational efficiency within the warranty department.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain professional dealer relationships, representing QB Business Solutions with excellence.
- Stay informed on all brand warranties and recalls, ensuring compliance with each manufacturer's claim processes.
- Develop and implement team strategies to achieve performance goals (minimum 97% CPFS and submissions under 2.5 days).
- Oversee training and development for new hires and existing team members.
- Manage the Warranty Admin team, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in claims processing.
- Conduct research on warranties and develop tailored solutions for warranty claims.
- Oversee and reconcile warranty receivables with payments and address discrepancies.
- Engage in travel for dealer launches, business conventions, and performance meetings as needed.
Requirements
- 5+ Years Managing a Team (Required)
- 1 Year as a Warranty Administrator (Preferred)
- 1 Year Handling Warranty Claims (Preferred)
- Automotive Warranty experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and listening skills for effective problem resolution.
- Strong computer skills and detail-oriented with organizational prowess.
- A working knowledge of service department methods and general accounting principles is preferred.
- Valid Driver's License and U.S. work authorization required.
- Must pass pre-employment testing (background checks, MVR, drug screening).
